Children’s folk ensembles from Bulgaria and Moldova will perform traditional songs and dances on Thursday evening on the stage in front of the Ruse Municipality building. The event is organized by Ruse Municipality in collaboration with the Municipal Children’s Centre for Culture and Art. A children’s folk ensemble from Moldova is the special guest at the festive concert. The young performers will present traditional songs and dances from their country to the audience. The programme starts at 7:00 p.m. with Moldovan folk music. The concert is dedicated to the 35th anniversary of the declaration of independence of the Republic of Moldova. The organizers said that folklore is one of the strongest bonds between the two nations, and the participation of children and young performers from Bulgaria and Moldova provides an opportunity for cultural exchange and the preservation of traditions.
