Israeli gunfire kills pregnant Palestinian woman, her unborn baby A pregnant Palestinian woman died on Saturday from injuries sustained after being shot by Israeli forces south of Khan Younis, in the southern Gaza Strip. Iman Shalouf, 27, was sitting inside her family’s tent in the Al-Mawasi area of Khan Younis when Israeli gunfire struck her in the head, according to Drop Site. She was rushed to Nasser Hospital, where doctors initially detected her unborn child's heartbeat and believed he might survive. However, both succumbed.
