Collapsed drain plunges London Underground into chaos

A collapsed drain is causing grey hairs to Londoners today after some Tube services were suspended (Josh Milton) Londoners have been caught up in travel misery across the Tube and Elizabeth line today. Commuter journeys were marred by severe delays on the London Underground this morning after a slate of issues. The culprit for the most serious delays is a broken drain. It caved in at Baker Street, forcing trains to ground to a halt in central London. The entire Circle line remains suspended while engineers work to fix the broken pipe on the track, the latest TfL travel status update shows.
