Navinosuke: Lost GBA Game From Metal Slug Team Predicted Pokémon GO by 15 Years
techtimes.com · 4d

Navinosuke: The Yo-kai Buster, a GPS-based creature RPG built by the Metal Slug team circa 2001, lands on Nintendo Switch and PC in 2027 via Happinet. Developer Kohachi Studio designed it around location-based yo-kai encounters -- the same mechanic Niantic made famous with Pokemon GO fifteen years later. A playable demo opens at Tokyo Game Show 2026 on September 17.
