With less than three days of voting left, Sweden’s election race is wide open, says political scientist Nicholas Aylott at Södertörn University. Aylott analyses the latest poll shifts, from the Liberals rising above the 4% threshold to the Social Democrats sliding, after so many months in the lead. He says he thinks the Social Democratic Party has lost the habit of thinking ideologically, and is more focusing on strategy and tactics to win an election.
