Feedzai to help secure Canada’s real-time payments launch

Peoples Group has announced a partnership with fraud‑prevention firm Feedzai to strengthen defenses ahead of Canada’s Real‑Time Rail (RTR) rollout later this year. Feedzai’s AI‑driven risk‑scoring technology will be integrated into the Vancouver-based company’s transaction systems to support instant settlement and meet evolving regulatory requirements. RTR will enable payments to clear and settle within seconds, operating continuously around the clock. It’s scheduled to launch in the fourth quarter of 2026.
