Evangelos Marinakis has sacked Olympiacos manager Jose Luis Mendilibar just seven matches into the new season. The departing boss becomes the 25th manager dismissed by the Greek businessman, who also owns Nottingham Forest and Rio Ave, in 16 years. The former Real Sociedad boss is available after leaving Al Shabab in February. Alguacil previously won the Copa del Rey during his time with Sociedad.
