Pura Vida Miami opening soon at Water Street Tampa

Pura Vida Miami, the popular all-day cafe chain with roots in South Florida, is about to launch its first Tampa location at the Water Street development. The new cafe at 1038 Water St. will open to the public Thursday, a news release said, offering a health-minded menu that puts an emphasis on “fresh, seasonal ingredients, whole grains and premium proteins.” Started in Miami Beach in 2012 by husband and wife Omer and Jennifer Horev, Pura Vida serves breakfast items alongside eats like salads, rice bowls, sandwiches and wraps, with options for vegan and gluten-free diners. Its dishes are prepared sans seed oils, according to the release. There’s a selection of specialty coffee and matcha drinks, smoothies and cold-pressed juices to choose from, as well as cookies and croissants, among other baked goods.
