Deputy PM Poulev Discusses Economic Cooperation with Chinese Vice Premier Ding Xuexiang

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy, Investments, and Industry Alexander Poulev met with the Vice Premier of the People's Republic of China, Ding Xuexiang, in Beijing, the press centre of the Ministry of Economy, Investments, and Industry reported on Thursday. The two discussed opportunities to deepen bilateral economic cooperation and attract new Chinese investments to Bulgaria. Key topics at the meeting included investment opportunities in the automotive industry, energy, high-tech sectors, decarbonization, and industrial cooperation, the press center reported. Poulev highlighted Bulgaria's political will to deepen its relations with China and noted the potential for more active practical development of these ties. He remarked that the current climate creates favourable conditions for new initiatives and the expansion of bilateral cooperation.
