bta.bg · 8d
Grass and bushes caught fire near the railway station in Gorno Sahrane, Central Bulgaria on Sunday, forcing the Sofia-Burgas express train, carrying around 120 passengers, to wait at Kalofer and holding up a local train at Kazanlak, Bulgarian State Railways reported. Train services between Tazha and Sahrane, part of the Sub-Balkan Railway Line, were suspended. The fire has affected a room at the Gorno Sahrane railway station and the station's access and departure areas, as well as railway sleepers. Firefighters arrived at the scene to tackle the blaze, while local residents also joined in efforts to help. Teams from the National Railway Infrastructure Company (NRIC) started inspecting the site and assessing the condition of the railway infrastructure.
