Drivers are facing long delays in the North West of England this morning as the police conduct an investigation on the M60. The M60 in Greater Manchester is closed between J10 (Trafford Park) and J11 (Eccles) clockwise due to a Greater Manchester Police-led incident. Just before the peak of rush hour, at around 7.30am, traffic officers from National Highways were called to the M60 to assist with the incident. The clockwise route remains closed while police investigations and vehicle recovery are carried out. TRENDING Stories Videos Your Say It has warned that it is currently unknown when the carriageway will reopen, potentially leaving thousands of drivers stuck in traffic. Traffic caught within the closure has been released past the scene, with National Highways also creating a diversion route for motorists. Drivers are currently dealing with delays of around 40 minutes, and approximately four miles of congestion on the approach. Traffic cameras show delays building on the M60 past J1
