Julian Amaral, 23, was first reported missing on Wednesday, September 2, after attending the Vida de Jovem Boat Party on the Tagus River. Unconfirmed reports suggested police had uncovered CCTV footage showing Julian, from High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire , falling into the water. Police divers were among those involved in the search for Julian, whose body was found on Sunday evening. Portugal’s Maritime Police said: ‘The body of the 23-year-old man, who had been missing since last Wednesday, September 2, at Alcantara Docks in Lisbon, was found yesterday evening (September 6) in the Tagus River, near the quay of the Liscont Terminal in Alcantara.
