Schweinsteiger draws ex-club Bayern kind German Cup opponent

Former Bayern Munich great Bastian Schweinsteiger gave the defending champions a kind second round task in the German Cup when he drew them to host second division Magdeburg on Saturday. It could have been worse for Bayern because all 18 top flight teams had won their first round games for the first time since 2008 to be in the draw pot of the 32 teams.
