Conor Coady has landed a job with England’s Under-21 side just days after leaving Wrexham. The defender had his contract terminated by mutual consent on Monday after a year with the Championship club. Coady lands England role Coady has been named as one of Lee Carsley’s assistant managers alongside Paul Williams. The 33-year-old joins the set-up ahead of their upcoming Under-21 Euro qualifiers. It follows the departure of Ashley Cole after five years working under Carsley. Cole confirmed his exit from the role last week, having also left his position as Cesena manager back in June. Coady will now assist Carsley for the Young Lions’ final three qualifiers in September and October.
