Prime Minister Rumen Radev said in a Facebook post marking the 141st anniversary of Bulgaria's Unification on Sunday: "When united, Bulgarians can change history and shape their own destiny." "On September 6, Bulgaria celebrates its Unification and honours the example set by a generation of statesmen who put aside their political differences in the name of the freedom and independence of their homeland," the Prime Minister said. "In the historic year of 1885, Bulgaria resolutely rejected the dictates of the Treaty of Berlin and swept away the borders that had divided our people," Radev said.
