The streaming platform has secured the rights to the film, which was executive-produced by the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, despite the couple's apparent "first-look" deal with Netflix. Following their move to the United States in 2020, Harry and Meghan signed a $100million deal with Netflix, releasing a bombshell documentary and the duchess's lifestyle show, With Love, Meghan. However, the couple ripped up their contract earlier this year to take full control of Meghan's brand, As Ever - though they announced a fresh "multi-year, first-look deal" granting Netflix priority access to projects developed through their Archewell production company.
