Chicago Public schools has called off Friday's football games due to an excessive heat advisory in the city. CPS postponed Thursday's games on Thursday morning but then went ahead and played most games when the heat advisory was lifted later in the day. Thirteen Public League football games were scheduled to be played in the city on Friday. Those are definitely postponed. Simeon is scheduled to play at Morris and Morgan Park in Edwardsville. A CPS spokesperson is still confirming the status of those high profile away games. Morgan Park coach Chris James confirmed he is expecting the Mustangs to play in Edwardsville on Friday.
