Bulgaria-China Economic Commission to Meet in Beijing on September 10

An official Bulgarian delegation will travel to Beijing for the 19th session of the Bulgaria-China Intergovernmental Joint Commission for Economic Cooperation. The delegation will be led by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy, Investments and Industry Alexander Poulev, who co-chairs the Commission, Poulev's ministry said on Saturday. The Joint Commission will meet on September 10, according to information released by the Bulgarian government in late August. The session will review cooperation between Bulgaria and China and address current issues in bilateral economic relations and opportunities to expand partnership in a number of areas, including investment, trade, innovation and digital transformation, transport, energy, social policy, agriculture and food, environment and water, tourism, and culture, the Economy Ministry reported.
