The lawsuit, filed Tuesday in Los Angeles, alleges that Keren Urinov threatened to report the music artist to British authorities for drug trafficking unless she agreed to employ Urinov for 15 years and offer ‘massive compensation’. She is suing Urinov for civil extortion, fraud and negligent misrepresentation, refusing to be ‘coerced into delivering her blackmailer an extraordinary payday’. In the documents, she explained that she had been ‘reluctant’ to file but ultimately had ‘no choice but to sue’. According to CBC, who have seen the lawsuit, she aims to ‘expose Urinov’s scheme and hold her accountable’ through this legal action.
