Montco DA provides update on deadly police shooting of NJ college student

Officials are set to announce the results of their investigation of the deadly police shooting of a New Jersey college student in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania. On Tuesday, Sept. 1, at 2 p.m., Montgomery County District Attorney Kevn Steele will hold a press conference on the death of 22-year-old Glenwood Pysher IV. The shooting occurred on Sunday, Aug. 23, around 12:30 a.m. in Upper Pottsgrove Township. An Upper Pottsgrove Township police officer responded to a report of a possible break-in at a home on Snyder Road. When the officer arrived, they found a man – later identified as Pysher – behind the house and an “encounter” followed, according to investigators. The officer then shot and killed Pysher. The Montgomery County Coroner’s Office determined Pysher died from gunshot wounds to his chest and his death was ruled a homicide. Erin Pysher, Glenwood Pysher’s m
