Montco DA provides update on deadly police shooting of NJ college student

Officials are set to announce the results of their investigation of the deadly police shooting of a New Jersey college student in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania. On Tuesday, Sept. 1, at 2 p.m., Montgomery County District Attorney Kevn Steele will hold a press conference on the death of 22-year-old Glenwood Pysher IV. The shooting occurred on Sunday, Aug. 23, around 12:30 a.m. in Upper Pottsgrove Township. An Upper Pottsgrove Township police officer responded to a report of a possible break-in at a home on Snyder Road. When the officer arrived, they found a man – later identified as Pysher – behind the house and an “encounter” followed, according to investigators. The officer then shot and killed Pysher.
