A fraudster has been jailed after stealing £91,000 from a breast cancer charity to fund a lavish wedding and honeymoon. Tameem Choudhury, a 29-year-old finance worker from Stoke Newington, worked within Breast Cancer Now's finance team. He carried out the fraud by redirecting funds intended for The Royal Marsden Hospital into his personal bank account. The specialist cancer hospital, established in 1851, operates from sites in Chelsea, Sutton and Cavendish Square. According to the charges, Choudhury "abused his position as an employee of Breast Cancer Now... by providing false bank account details to The Royal Marsden in order for funds... to be directed into his own personal bank account". In just 48 hours, he burned through more than £49,000 of the stolen money. He also funnelled cash to debt collection
