Dolly Parton has been laid to rest in a private Nashville ceremony. The immediate family of the country music superstar gathered at Woodlawn Memorial Park and Mausoleum in Nashville on Friday morning to pay tribute in a small funeral service for Parton, who died Tuesday after “bravely facing a brief battle with cancer.” Parton was buried alongside to her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, who died in March 2025. A bronze crypt plaque affixed to the mausoleum bears Parton’s name beside her husband’s, along with a depiction of her Tennessee home and their wedding date.
