Industrial production ends two-month decline, rises 0.2% in July

Brazilian industrial production grew 0.2 percent from June to July, ending two consecutive months of decline. As a result, the sector has accumulated a 1.1 percent increase so far in 2026 and a 0.6 percent expansion over the past 12 months. Compared to July 2025, the country’s industrial output fell by 0.5 percent. The quarterly moving average, which helps identify the sector’s recent trajectory, contracted by 0.8 percent.
