Orbán-backed Brussels think tank MCC Brussels to close after funding cut

MCC Brussels, the Eurosceptic think tank established by Viktor Orbán’s government, is shutting down after losing its Hungarian state funding. Its director, Frank Furedi, resigned in protest, describing the decision to wind down the organisation as “unprofessional and childish.”
