MAS commits S$220m to accelerate fintech innovation

Singapore’s MAS will invest S$220 million over three years in the fourth iteration of the Financial Sector Technology and Innovation scheme to accelerate fintech innovation, frontier-tech adoption, and talent development. The plan funds six tracks, including AI adoption and infrastructure, and aims to fund at least 1,000 fintech internships to strengthen Singapore’s fintech ecosystem, according to DPM Gan Kim Yong.
