An assistant principal at a Hollywood elementary school was granted bond Monday during his first appearance before a judge after his arrest on domestic battery and robbery charges . Marc Horowitz, 53, was arrested Sunday on charges of robbery by sudden snatching and domestic violence battery, Broward jail records showed. Horowitz, an assistant principal at Orange Brook Elementary School in Hollywood, was reassigned following his arrest, Broward County Public Schools officials said. According to the Broward Sheriff’s Office, deputies had responded to a disturbance call in the 16000 block of Southwest 5th Way in Weston around 11:58 p.m. on Friday. Deputies learned Horowitz had been involved in a domestic disturbance where he physically assaulted the victim and snatched their phone, officials said. During his Monday morning bond court appearance, it was learned the alleged victim is the mother of his two children. The judge set Horowitz’s bond at $3,000 and ordered him to have no contact
