Older workers are more bullish on AI than younger ones

Older employees are significantly more positive about AI than their younger colleagues, according to a new survey by Glassdoor. Among members of Generation X (those born between 1965 and 1980), nearly half of respondents had a positive view of the new AI technology. At the same time, just one-third of Generation Z (that is, those born between 1997 and 2012) share that same level of positivity. The reason younger people have a more negative attitude toward AI? Strong concerns that the technology will eventually take their jobs, reports Bloomberg . Older people, on the other hand, feel more confident that their experience in the workplace will allow them to hang onto their jobs until they retire.
