Iotova Thanks Socialists for Backing Her Presidential Bid

President Iliana Iotova thanked the Bulgarian Socialist Party (BSP) for its trust and support for her presidential bid in the upcoming election on October 25, the BSP press office reported on Monday, citing a letter from Iotova to all Bulgarian Socialists. Iotova expressed appreciation for the journey she shared with the Socialists, the time spent together and the fact that they faced challenges together. She described the unanimous decision of the BSP National Council to support her presidential candidacy as an important political act, but also an extraordinary personal responsibility for her.
