Mahama heads to Serbia for 65th anniversary of Non-Aligned Movement

President John Dramani Mahama is expected in Belgrade, Serbia, to participate in a high-level meeting marking the 65th anniversary of the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM). The President has been invited by Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić to attend the two-day commemoration, scheduled for August 31 and September 1, 2026, as a Special Guest of Honour. Foreign Affairs Minister Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa is leading the Ghanaian delegation to the meeting, which is being held in Belgrade, the city where the Non-Aligned Movement was formally launched in 1961.
