A man died early Saturday after being hit by an SUV in Philadelphia’s Logan neighborhood, according to police. At approximately 2:30 a.m., police responded to the deadly crash at North 20th Street and Belfield Avenue. Police have not identified the man who was killed. Officials said the driver of the SUV remained at the scene and told officers she initially “thought she had hit an animal.” It is unclear whether the driver will face charges. The crash remains under investigation.
