Thousands of runners are gearing up to participate in this year’s Philly 10K in the heart of South Philadelphia this Sunday. The race, now its 13th year, will begin at 7:30 a.m. along the 800 block of South Street and finishes along the 500 block of South Street. Organizers said there will be many road closures and parking restrictions in place to ensure the safety of all participants, and traffic delays are expected.
