Burgas Prosecutor Darin Hristov Nominated for SJC Prosecutors’ Quota Member

Prosecutor Darin Hristov of the Burgas District Prosecutor’s Office has been nominated for an elected member of the Supreme Judicial Council (SJC) from the prosecutors’ quota, the SJC press office said here on Friday. He was nominated by magistrates from the Supreme Cassation Prosecutor’s Office, the Sofia and Burgas appellate prosecutor’s offices, the Sofia City Prosecutor’s Office, and the Burgas District and Regional Prosecutor’s Offices. They cited his moral, ethical, professional and personal qualities, saying that as an SJC member, his high level of professionalism would enable him to represent and defend the interests of magistrates, judicial employees and the judicial system. Prosecutor Hristov has had a long professional career in the Prosecutor’s Office of the Republic of Bulgaria, which began in 2012.
