A Hialeah man is facing charges after he allegedly called in a bomb threat to a Salvation Army shelter, authorities said. Juan Carlos Siblia-Lopez, 63, was arrested on a charge of making a false report about placing a bomb, Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office officials said. Deputies had responded to the shelter at 1907 Northwest 38th Street on Wednesday after a caller said there was a bomb in the building. “Mr. Brown, you know who I am. There’s a live bomb in the building,” the caller said, according to an arrest report. The building was evacuated and searched but no explosive devices or suspicious items were found. Investigators were able to determine that the number of the caller belonged to Siblia-Lopez and was registered under the name “Alex Boom,” the report said. Siblia-Lopez was booked into jail and was expected to appear in bond court on Thursday. Attorney information wasn’t available.
