Border Police Arrest Moldovan Driver and Undocumented Moroccan National After Pursuit in Burgas

Border police officers arrested a Moldovan driver and an undocumented Moroccan national after they failed to comply with police orders and were pursued, the Interior Ministry said on Saturday. According to initial information, the Burgas Border Police and the Burgas Police are also searching for two more illegal migrants. At around 1:50 p.m. on Saturday, a passenger car with Moldovan registration failed to stop when signalled by a patrol of the Burgas Border Police Station using a stop baton in the Poda area. The patrol followed the car at a safe distance. The driver also failed to comply with a second border police patrol from the Burgas Border Police Station. The border police subsequently surrounded the vehicle, which was stopped near the entrance to Chernomorets Stadium in Burgas. In June, Border Police arrested 32 migrants at the entrance to Burgas.
