Jury begins deliberations after defendant claims self-defense in 2022 fatal Little Rock shooting

If he could have gotten a hold of Jadon Shackelford's gun, no one would have been hurt that night, the Little Rock man who killed him told a Pulaski County jury on Thursday. "I didn't want anybody to get shot," said 22-year-old Evan Doral Franklin. "I was trying to stop him from raising (the gun) up."
