Police seek to identify ‘suspicious' man seen knocking on doors in Berks County

The Caernarvon Township Police Department is requesting the public’s help to identify a “suspicious person” who has been knocking on doors in Berks County. According to police, around 1:16 p.m. on Thursday, a man was seen knocking on doors in Morgantown, near the Joanna Store area, claiming to be a solicitor with Kinetic High Speed Internet. However, officials said the company told police the man is not affiliated with them. Police said the man was also seen taking photos of properties in the area. The man left the area before police arrived, officials said. Officers are now seeking to identify and question him about the activity. The man is described as being in his 30s with a tattoo on his right forearm that possibly depicts a flower. Anyone with information is asked to contact police at 610-286-1012, option 2.
