Miami fraud suspect entered jail with $3,200 in cash ‘lodged in vagina,' deputies say

A Miami woman arrested in a brazen bank fraud case is facing more charges after she entered a jail with $3,200 in cash stuffed inside her body, authorities said. Moniquie Love Turnbull, 31, was arrested Monday on charges including scheme to defraud and fraudulent use of a credit or debit card without consent involving a victim 60 years or older, Martin County Sheriff’s Office officials said. According to the sheriff’s office, Turnbull showed up at a senior citizen’s home, claimed she was from their bank and that their account had been compromised, and said she would handle the disposal of their bank card. While investigating that call, deputies learned of another case in which Turnbull was identified as a possible suspect, officials said. Turnbull was later taken into custody during a traffic stop. But when she entered the jail, it was discovered she had $3,200 in cash “lodged in her vagina,” the sheriff’s office said. https://www.facebook.com/MartinCountySheriffsOffice/posts/pfbid02jR
