After police arrested a 19-year-old found hiding in a dormitory closet at Virginia State University on Saturday in connection with a shooting on campus, a VSU student who lives in that dorm room was arrested on charges of obstruction and being an accessory. Ja’niah Johnson, 19, of Glen Burnie, Maryland, returned to Virginia and turned herself in on Wednesday after police contacted her, Chesterfield County police said. She appeared in court and was released on her own recognizance, police said. The suspect found hiding in the dorm, Camron Harris of Henrico County, Virginia, is not a student on campus, nor were four of the people injured, Chesterfield County Police said in a statement. They ranged in age from 17 to 23. A 21-year-old who sustained life-threatening injuries remains in critical condition.
