Car seat manufacturer Evenflo is recalling nearly 23,000 infant car seats and travel systems, according to a recall notice issued by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. According to a recall report that was issued in early August , a government crash test found the car seats may not meet federal safety standards. The issue involves the seat’s recline indicator. It may show the seat is installed correctly when it’s sitting too upright. That could increase the risk of injury in a crash, according to the safety recall report. The flaw led Ohio-based Evenflo to recall certain models of its Revolve180 LiteMax NXT seats that were made before a design change in March 2025. If you have one, check your model number. Then watch for a recall notice from Evenflo. The company says it will provide a free fix, but it’s still being developed.
