Two men have been sentenced to prison — one for the rest of his life — after being convicted for the July 2020 shooting death of a young rapper in West Philadelphia . On Tuesday, Philadelphia District Attorney Larry Krasner announced sentencings for Bahij Dini and Donovan K. Williams who, Krasner said, were both convicted in the Sunday, July 5, 2020, shooting death of Aamir Johnson Daye, 18, that happened at a home on the 1400 block of North 61st Street in West Philadelphia. in this shooting, Krasner said another man, named Hezekiah Evans, was also targeted by the attackers. Krasner noted Evans, who survived the shooting, was later killed in a separate incident that is still under investigation.
