Hull FC launch investigation amid MKM Stadium issues – just days before ground hosts Man United

Hull FC will investigate the technical issues which impacted Friday’s Super League clash against Castleford Tigers at the MKM Stadium. The stadium’s big screens were unable to be used, barely a week before its first football action of the season: Hull City ‘s Premier League opener against Manchester United on Saturday (August 22). The big screens appeared to be working as normal during Hull City’s friendly draw with Nice on Saturday Getty On Monday, Hull FC – who have shared the ground with Hull City since 2003 – released a statement on the situation. It read: “The club can confirm it will launch a full investigation into the circumstances surrounding technical issues at the MKM Stadium on Friday evening during our Betfred Super League fixture against Castleford Tigers. “Due to issues beyond the control of the club, the stadium’s two big screens were not able to be used during the match. “The MKM Stadium’s match clock and shot clock were therefore both also unavailable during the match
