Levski Sofia and AEK Athens drew 0-0 on Tuesday evening in the first leg of their UEFA Champions League play-off for a place in the league phase. The draw in front of a packed Vasil Levski National Stadium in Sofia means that the tie between the Bulgarian and Greek football champions will be decided in Athens next week. The match was officiated by Swedish referee Glenn Nyberg. Levski's Spanish head coach Julio Velazquez said after the game: "Levski played an even match against AEK Athens and everyone at our club is confident that we can eliminate the Greeks in the Champions League second leg next week.
