The FBI is searching for a suspect who they said robbed a bank in Fort Lauderdale. The robbery happened around 4:20 p.m. on Aug. 13 at the Truist bank at 501 E. Las Olas Boulevard, FBI officials said. Authorities said the robber entered the bank, implied he had a gun and demanded money from an employee. No one was injured. The amount of money taken wasn’t released. The FBI on Monday released surveillance images of the suspect. Images released by the FBI show a suspect in the Robbery of a Truist bank in Fort Lauderdale on Aug. 13, 2026. Anyone with information was asked to contact the FBI at 1-800-CALL-FBI.
