Danube Water Level Stable at Gauging Stations in Ruse, Silistra Over Past 24 Hours
bta.bg · 21h · first report

The Danube water level remained stable at the gauging stations in Ruse and Silistra over the past 24 hours, according to the Exploration and Maintenance of the Danube River Executive Agency. At three of the stations - Svishtov, Nikopol, and Oryahovo - a decrease of one to two centimeters was recorded. The level rose by two centimeters at Lom and by one centimeter at Novo Selo. According to the River Supervision Directorate, no new vessels have run aground either within or outside the navigable channel over the past 24 hours. All restrictions on the draft of vessels remain in place along the entire stretch of the river, and hydrological conditions continue to be difficult. Due to the low water level of the Danube, the dried-up river channel near Lyulyaka Island in Ruse has become a walking spot.
