Man fatally shot in West Park ID'd, BSO says

A man who was fatally shot in West Park was identified on Wednesday, deputies said According to the Broward Sheriff’s Office, the victim was 25-year-old Zakari Glass. Deputies said they arrived at the 2300 block of Southwest 46th Avenue on Monday after receiving a call about a shooting around 1 a.m. At the scene, deputies found Glass suffering from gunshot wounds, and they started life-saving measures. When paramedics arrived at the scene, they pronounced him dead. NBC6 cameras captured BSO deputies searching the area with flashlights behind police tape. What appeared to be a body was covered by a yellow tarp. A vehicle in the middle of the scene was towed away. It was not clear if it was involved in the shooting. People could be seen visibly upset at the scene. No arrests have been made as the investigation into the shooting remains active.
