The government will bring forward payments to Friday, August 28, ahead of the bank holiday weekend. Universal Credit , State Pension, Personal Independence Payment, Attendance Allowance, Carer’s Allowance, and Disability Living Allowance will all be paid out early. The money was originally meant to arrive on August 31, which is bank holiday Monday. The Government said the early payments will ‘provide financial certainty for families as they prepare for the new school year’, and allow ‘parents and carers to plan their spending with confidence’.
