Ukrainian FP-5 “Flamingo” missiles struck industrial facilities in Samara, Russia, on Aug. 15. Following the attack, the chief designer of the Ukrainian defense company Fire Point published footage of a Flamingo missile launch. Open-source intelligence analysts identified the targeted site as the shared production zone of the Aviakor aviation plant and the Progress Space Rocket Centre. Russian officials confirmed localized infrastructure damage. Concurrently, drone attacks in occupied Crimea caused power outages in Sevastopol.
