Chick-fil-A (finally) launches its take on a southern breakfast staple

Chick-fil-A is finally putting an iconic Southern breakfast staple on its menu — and you can get it any time of day. On Aug. 12, the chicken chain announced that its new Chicken & Waffles Sandwiches will be launching in restaurants nationwide on Aug. 24. Customers can enjoy two versions of the dish, depending on the time of day: a Chicken & Waffles Sandwich during breakfast hours (6 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.), and a larger Chicken & Waffles Sandwich throughout the rest of the day. There are also two campfire-inspired treats arriving for a limited time. Here are all the fall offerings: Chicken & Waffles Sandwiches feature chicken, applewood-smoked bacon and honey butter spread, sandwiched inside maple-flavored waffles, with a side of syrup. It comes in both breakfast and entrée portions, with the choice of an Original, Spicy or Grilled filet.
