A man is fighting for his life after he was struck by debris that fell from scaffolding while he was walking through Center City late Friday morning. The unidentified man was walking along the 1200 block of Chestnut Street shortly before 11 a.m. Police said debris from scaffolding then fell on top of him. The man was taken to the hospital where he is currently listed in critical condition. Cameras from NBC10 captured police, workers and yellow tape around a building that was under construction at the scene of the incident. Philadelphia police continue to investigate.
