Former Secretary of Defense Mark Esper, says he agrees with President Trump's strategy for an economic blockade and expects US forces to remain in the region for an extended period. Esper says the US failed to reinvigorate its defense industrial base quickly enough to build the stockpiles and production capacity needed for a major conflict. Esper says that responsibility for conditions on the USS Lincoln fall on the leadership onboard the ship and that the length of deployment is what falls on the Secretary of Defense. He speaks with Joe Mathieu and Kailey Leinz on the late edition of Bloomberg's "Balance of Power." (Source: Bloomberg)
